The IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) program is involved in ongoing partnerships with numerous public and private entities that provide free tax assistance to over three million low-income taxpayers.

Understanding Taxes (UT) is a web-based tax education program sponsored by the IRS’ Stakeholder Partnerships, Education, and Communication (SPEC) Office. This interactive tax education program was developed for high school and community college students and is a significant component of SPEC’s suite of Internet-based education and outreach products for customers and stakeholders.

The Joint Protection Enterprise Network (JPEN) is an integrated information-sharing system that facilitates active communication and collaboration among the Department of Defense (DoD), the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command (USACIDC), Military Police, and local, state, federal, and international law enforcement agencies. JPEN allows users to post, retrieve, filter, and analyze real-world events.
