Omnicell, Inc. is a leading provider of healthcare facilities solutions. Omnicell programs focus on patient safety, increasing efficiency of the medication administration process, and essential documentation procedures including regulatory compliance.
Omnicell, Inc. wanted to develop a series of e-learning modules to train nurses on software used in hospitals for issuing and managing medical-surgical supplies. Omnicell had previously produced technology-based training that was accessed from a CD-ROM. Now, they wanted courseware that could be deployed from a Learning Management System (LMS).

Working closely with Omnicell Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Learning & Performance Solutions Group developed web-based courses that could be integrated into an LMS. We designed interactive lessons using HTML coding, full screen graphics, Adobe® Flash® and Captivate® to engage learners throughout the course.
- Show Me simulations provide step-by-step instructions for the software
- Try It simulations (with instructional cues) allow users to practice performing the steps
- Multiple-choice knowledge checks help learners gauge their mastery of the content
